Noah Schnapp was born on October 3, 2004, in New York City. His parents Mitchell and Karine raised him in Scarsdale.
His passion for acting began at the age of 5 after watching the Broadway production of Annie. Noah Schnapp performed various roles in school and community plays. At the age of eight, his teacher recommended to become a professional, so Noah’s parents enrolled him in an acting program at Westchester Star Kidz. His coach Alyson Isbrandtsen at the acting program then referred him to MKS&D Talent Management for his career.

Schnapp made his onscreen debut in Steven Spielberg’s’ historical drama movie Bridge of Spies. His career skyrocketed in 2016 after casting in the first season of the Stranger Things series. In 2017, he and his co-stars Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, and Caleb McLaughlin contended with each other for an episode of Spike’s Lip Sync Battle.
