It’s home quarantine time, due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus. People are working from home, spending time with family, and for sure most of us are on the hunt for fresh and new movies and TV shows.

Talking about fresh, Netflix’s latest documentary series “Tiger King”?has become the talk of the town as it has become the current best show on Netflix, according to Rotten Tomatoes. Scoring outstanding with the rating of 97% critics and 94% average audience sore. Tiger King leads the line as the site’s most popular TV shows, leaving behind the likes of “Ozark” Season 3, Queen of the South, and “The Sinner” season 3.

According to Variety, Netflix’s daily rankings have ranked “Tiger King” as the No.1 most-watched title in the U.S. for March 29 and both overall and among other TV series, it has been in top 10 for the past week.

However, it’s not a show of everyone’s liking. If you look at IMDb’s rating it has a respectable average score of 8.1 out of 10 from nearly 5,300 users, meaning it doesn’t even include in the top 250 TV shows listed by the site metric.

Producers Positive About Season 2: “There’s a lot that’s still unfolding”

The fans are asking for more about the wild characters, which make up the world of controversial exotic animal zoos, and there seems to be some possibility of a season 2.

Producers Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin told Entertainment Weekly, “We have a crazy amount of footage and it’s a story that’s still unfolding,” Chaiklin told?EW. “We’re not sure yet, but there could be a follow-up on this story because there’s a lot that’s still unfolding in it, and it’ll be just as dramatic and just as colorful as what has unfolded these past few years.”, according to Mashable.

Which was a dream as filmmakers, that our subjects were so obsessed with filming themselves.”, according to Mashable

As the produces were talking about the series, they discussed their feelings towards the people in the exotic animal business that they centered on, including Joe Exotic’s rival Carol Baskin.

Goode told EW, “I think there’s a lot of hypocrisy when it comes to Carol and a lot of greenwashing. I think that what people should take away from the show and what one should do to protect tigers, in particular, big cats, is to support more programs in the wild.” according to Mashable.

In this controversial subject matter, Goode added, ” “I have mixed feelings about supporting places that so-call rescue big cats because I’m not sure ultimately, they’re providing such a service. I hate to say this, but the Humane Society rescues dogs or the ASPCA, and they humanely euthanize a lot of dogs and people sometimes take offense with that. But oftentimes that’s the most humane thing to do, just humanely euthanize an animal rather than keeping them in a cage for the duration of its life. Carol keeps them in cages for the duration of their lives, and I’m not sure that’s the right thing to do.”

The season 2 theoretically will let Baskin expose the claims presented during the first season, along with traversing her Big Cat Rescue operation. The important role would be changed, with Joe now in prison for 22 years. Lowe could also be introduced in season 2 if he hasn’t conceded any crimes as hinted in the documentary.
